Story: Gosling's Initiation
This nights gathering was at Scalm Park in a caravan of which apparently used to be rented out to someone who was jailed for an incident involving a knife, I’m a little shady on the details. The part of the caravan the group stayed in consisted of one small sofa, which managed to fit Jason and Lamby onto it, where as Culkin and Gosling sat on a mound of rolled up carpets which were strung across the room. We spent the first hour in the dark drinking beer until we eventually realised the caravan had electricity and we brightened up our night until we decided it was time for Gosling's initiation. For the initiation, it is customary for all new recruits of The 96 Group to enjoy a cap of 96% pure alcohol. Gosling, having reluctantly drunk a few bottles wasn’t too fond on the idea, so Jason decided to have a cap himself if Gosling did afterward. And so it went, Jason downed a cap and Gosling did afterward.The idea is to try not to throw up at this point, which became a problem for Gosling when jay decided to pretend to throw up to encourage Gosling to do so. To Jason's regret, pretending to hurl actually made him do so. Though he did say he felt better for doing so afterward. After managing not to puke, the group returned to the caravan where Gosling's bottle of beer got spiked with more 96 while he was in the bathroom. For some reason, Gosling did not feel like he could finish his bottle, oh well. By this time Lamby had fallen asleep on the sofa, which left Jason, Culkin and Gosling to sleep on a single mattress they found lying around. The three of them managed to balance the mattress on the mound of carpets, though this was very unstable. As a result, Gosling eventually slid off of the mattress and into a pile of bottles, some of which were smashed. The words "oh shit" were used at this moment. Lamby eventually woke up and the four of us stumbled back to his house and found some chairs to sleep on for the night.
Moral: Pretending to Hurl can backfire.
